Make Your Visit Easy: Things To Do Near AHC

In Arizona Hearing Center, Patient Resources, Things To Do

Is this your first time to Arizona? Arizona Hearing Center is located in a great area, just north of Downtown Phoenix. There is so much to do in the area that you’ll wish you had more time to spend here. Here are some of our favorite activities:

Museums

The Heard Museum, one of the most popular museums in Arizona, is right down the street from our office. It features Native American culture and history with art and other exhibits such as live performances.

There are lots of other museums near our office:

  • Arizona Science Center: The Science Center is a great place for children to learn about science and engineering.
  • Phoenix Art Museum: This is one of the largest art museums in the Southwest, featuring 16,000 pieces of art.
  • Desert Botanical Garden: A less traditional museum, Desert Botanical Garden is a great way to enjoy the Arizona weather and learn about some of the local plants.
  • Children’s Museum of Phoenix: This unique museum offers hands-on learning experience for children while keeping parents entertained.

Hiking

Lace up those hiking boots! Arizona is renowned for its hiking. There are several different mountains with great hiking near Phoenix. Camelback Mountain is one of the more famous mountains in the area, and it offers two trails. These are a bit more strenuous than some of the other hikes in Phoenix. South Mountain boasts a lot more trails with varying difficulties so it is better for less experienced hikers.

Baseball

Chase Field, home to the Arizona Diamondbacks, is very close to Arizona Hearing Center. The tickets are relatively inexpensive.

If you happen to come during Spring Training time, the Phoenix area is home to five spring training fields, where 15 MLB teams train. The weather is gorgeous during this time of the year so many people enjoy going to these games and even just grabbing lawn seats.

Basketball

If basketball is more your style, Talking Stick Resort Arena, where the Phoenix Suns play, is also near our office. The basketball games are always tons of fun with the Suns Gorilla and the Suns Dancers getting the crowd riled up.

Restaurants

There are plenty of great places to grab a bite to eat in Phoenix. Click here for a list of food spots we can’t get enough of!

These are just a couple of the things to do while you’re in Phoenix. We hope you enjoy your stay! Please give us a call at 602-277-4327 (HEAR) if you have any questions or to schedule your appointment.
